Saigon River Factory Vietnam was founded in 1998 by Peter Arts and Hedwig Pira in a joint venture with a Vietnamese partner. As soon as the law permitted in 2004, the joint venture ceased its activities and operations were continued as a fully foreign owned entity.
Throughout the years the company has moved locations a couple of times, to land at its current address in Binh Duong early 2007. An old empty school building deemed the perfect fit for the diverse activities that the factory embodied. Over the years, the building was turned into a well functioning, multi-department set up, while an amount of the early flexibility has been kept to deal with diverse, collection-crossing orders.
